Convert hand drawing to CAD

Post by markgray » Wed Dec 05, 2012 10:34 pm

I would like to import a hand drawing with organic shapes, Scale it and then trace the drawing with various Line tools. I have figured out the import but am stuck.

The line drawing is inside the drawing area. I want to pick 2 points and label it a specific length. Then convert the rest of the import to a measured drawing scaled to my dimension. Then I want to trace the drawing so it can be exported and cut in steel. I hope this is clear I am new at this obviously. Thanks

Hi Mark,

check this nice "scale it" tutorial out from clive - I assume it solves at least one "Problem" of your project.
