Import Error

Post by Bristlebrog » Mon Feb 24, 2014 9:44 pm

Hi all,

I bought the version 3.4.6 on Windows 7 yesterday.
I saved 2 drawings. Today, it is impossible to open them : an error message says that I should check my access rights or file format or file extension.
Here are the files. I have no idea if this comes from QCAD or from Windows parameters as I never had any problems with other files before.
If someone can give a hand...

Hi Bristlebrog and welcome to the forum.

Your files open up for me with no problems.

These files - where do they originate from - QCAD or another program?
For the best support please state your operating system, QCAD version and add any supporting DXF/DWG files, screenshots etc...

Hi Clive,

Thank you for your reply. I just re-installed QCAD 3.4.6. It seems to work again.
I started to work on the QCAD 2 while I bought the pro version. I think that I saved Under a R15 dxf from the free version as after the re-instal, QCAD warned me about my file format. Then I saved it under R27.dxf format and everything sounds ok now. My files just need some quick changes but I feel better now as I didn't want to draw this for the 3rd time !
Thank you anyway for your time :D
