Snap rectangle- from a corner

Post by bozzle » Wed Apr 16, 2014 2:44 pm

Hi,

Trying to copy and snap 75 by 75mm rectangles but struggling as snap tool works from middle of rectangle and rectangle edges will not line up with rest of my drawing( being 75/2=37.5mm from a grid line). Can I adjust snap reference to automatically select say bottom left corner of my rectangle (instead of rectangle centre).

Yes, use Edit > Copy with Reference instead of Edit > Copy

- Select rectangle
- Edit > Copy with Reference
- Click bottom left corner of rectangle

- Paste as usual
