FS#2471 - Tool request: Arc - 2 Tangents and radius ...

... inclusive trim option ;-)

I’m already able to use the Circle tool “2 Tangents and radius” to accomplish this task but it is a lot of break out etc. action needed to clean the shape afterward.

There is indeed a lack of methods for tangential arcs.
I voted for this.

One would expect it to work with Round (RN) with a larger radius.
RN returns but one arc based on the 8 possible circles that are tangent to the smaller arcs. None of the RN options return the intended arc, inverted they are not tangentially. RN + trimming can return awkward solutions in combination with arc segments.

The question still remains which of the 8 (... 16) possible arcs is the required solution.

The top one is the required solution.
The other 7 are as valid as the top one when trimming is involved.

After further consideration ...
The remaining circle part of the 8 tangentially arcs in green are also valid candidates.
The required solution is thus 1 out 16.
