FS#1841 - QCAD/CAM Postprocessor "Hpgl": Add pen colors to HP/GL output
Add SPx; with x being pen number from 1-8.
TODO:
- Which color corresponds to which pen number?
- What if there are more than 8 colors in a DXF files?
A HP penplotter assigns pennumbers 1...8 to carousel 1, and pennumbers 9...16 to carousel 2, a.s.o. Carousels are hardware opto-labeled as 'inkpen', 'fiber tip', a.s.o If an inkpen of a carousel should be changed to a pen in a different carousel, the plotter halts, and waits for the correct carousel. After inserting the plotter checks if the correct one carousel is inserted. By its design at that time HP penplotters defines 16 colors max. I recall a maximum of 32 pens on 4 carousels.
Assigning colors is done in a plot table by assigning colors to pennumbers.
Currently I am designing for myself a 'post plu processor' for rotating/mirroring/scaling/calibrating the QCAD plt file to HP7580. Interested?
