FS#2066 - Text/Dim rendering issue for size and contrast
Sorry - can’t give you a proper way to reproduce it .... it just happens.
Dimension Arrows shown with reduced contrast, zoom in/out can trigger it but not always,
text hight jumps from “correct” to way to small to a kind of mixed size display,
DIM preview fails often in size - probably depending on zoom factor ...
Snapshot Version: 3.24.3.4
Edit: Issue occurred first with version: 3.24.3.2
Two separate issues here:
* Mouse-over highlighting stays active when zooming in / out:
fixed
* Dimension text label rendering:
I cannot reproduce this here.
Can you try a different font and see if the issue persists?
Can you try to switch off multithread rendering: Edit > Application Preferences > Appearance > Display and Performance > Use multithreading (uncheck)
Please attach also the DXF file, thanks.
It's font sensitive for dim and text. Attached dxf has 4 fonts which will show the artifacts. Zoom in/out will trigger the effect. Repeated identical zoom factor can show a difference in the result.
I unchecked Multithreading and the effect disappeared. Only a contrast issue is still notable.
test Dimension text label ren...(114.2 KiB)I still cannot reproduce this on any platform here. Is it easy to reproduce there? I'm zooming in / out using +/- repeatably but can't see any problems. Note that I'm taliking about the artefacts here. The "contrast" (highlighting) issue has been solved.
Yes and no. I zoom in and out with the mouse wheel. It can happen very soon after starting on a drawing but it can also take a while until the effect occurs. Feels like an overflow has to be triggered.
It works also with the keyboard keys +/- but I assume the mouse pointer position plays a role too.
