FS#2374 - Add Spindle Speed to Toolpath Dialog

When editing an existing toolpath to update the parameters of the selected tool, we can update the Feed Rate and the Plunge Rate, but I couldn’t find any way to update the Spindle Speed.

Even when using the Edit Tool KE button, we can edit parameters of the tool on concern but none of the modification is applied to the current Toolpath because as I see, tools parameters are copied fron tools definitions to a Toolpath only at creation of this Toolpath, but Toolpath are not updated accordingly.

Could you please add an edit field for Spindle Speed in the CAM Profile Toolpath window?

Many thanks’, and best regards.

You can edit the spindle speed (and all the other parameters of a toolpath) in the property editor as follows:

Make sure the preference under:
Edit > Application Preferences > Widgets > Property Editor > Display properties of current block and current layer is checked.

In the block list (View > Block List), double click on the toolpath block to edit, e.g. "CAMTOOLPATH$$GCodeMM$$Profile 1" for "Profile 1".

In the property editor, choose "Selection:" "Block" at the top.

Edit the property "CamSpindleSpeed".

In the block list, double click on block "Model" to return to the main drawing.

I discovered that this feature is now available, at least since release 3.27.8.0, but for new created files only.
Many thanks to developers :-) //
