FS#776 - Extra ' isometric' buttons for using Line from Angle.
When working with the isometric grid (in any projection - Top, Right, Left) and drawing from ‘scratch’ as it were, without using the projection tools - I find myself using ‘Line from Angle’ the most.
It would be extreamly useful to be presented with two extra buttons when using this tool, a 30 degree button and a -30 degree button, this way I wouldn’t need to keep typing in the angle difference here.

Thanks for asking for this feature!
I'm thinking about something like this for quite a while - but I was never sure what is the best choice to push QCAD a little bit more in the perspective direction. Just to fill QCAD up with a lot of perspective tools can't be the right solution but on the other side I still think that only one - the isometric perspective - isn't enough.
Here are my personal thoughts on a solution for "everybody":
I'm imaging the "Application Preferences" and/or the "Drawing Preferences" with a Perspective default menu for variable parameter where I can put in my personal preferences for a perspective drawing.
If I have the possibility to tell (variable) the program that all Perspective tools have to use ...
X=30°/scale=1, Y=30°/scale=1, Z=90°/scale=1 for an Isometric
or
X=42°/scale=0.5, Y=7°/scale=1, Z=90°/scale=1 for a Dimitry
... then I have the possibility to cover a couple more Perspectives with only one solution.
Your request with the new "line from angle" tools should also pick up the given variables (just the angle) for the perspective and, of course, also the grit parameter have to use it.
What do you think? Make that sense? What is Andrews opinion?
Husky, I think that your comments are well thought out and make perfect sense to me. I agree with you that an option to set up a default perspective menu would indeed be the way to go, I'm not sure how much work this will give Andrew and the team, but I guess in the long term view something like this would be great.
Lets wait and see ;)
I know Andrew has some exciting plans ahead for QCAD development.
