Re: How can I close this loop?

Thanks Husky, I forgot to check for those Zero length entities, however duplicates are not being found: (Perhaps I deleted them already in all my futzing around.) Nope - there are still present. Please make sure Ignore Layer and Ignore Direction is checked and don't forget to delete them. Same with...

Couldn't found any difference between the situations.
Both situation are exactly the same (copy). Difference is only the location. e_surprised

CT2 behaves differently simply based on where it is used. Thomas, you expected already a bug - will you file a bug report?

Re: How can I close this loop?

The Hatch tool is "confused" because the shape has double lines. Remove those duplicates (2) with "Detect Duplicates" tool and try the Hatch tool again.

Also is a Zero length entity in that drawing which should be removed ....

Re: constructing a round using a circle with two tangential points

This doesn't seem to work. I'm asked for first line or circle, second line or circle and when being asked for "point on circle line" it doesn't snap at the endpoint. The CT2 tool is built to solve the task easily without auxiliary lines. Try this click order: Husky-2019.09.17-02.png If it still not...

Now I want to shorten the total length of the arc to 2.8 with the green line pieces following the endpoints of that arc.
Should 2.8 be the length or the cord of that arc? Can you attache an example dxf of this situation?

Re: DI - shortening ARC

Is it correct to select the entity (arc) and then choose DI? DI doesn't needs a previously selection. Just launch DI, select the entity which has do be divided and watch the mouse pointer - it will partly change to a dash dash point line which indicates the divide (or cut) position. That is as usua...

Re: fichier autocad 2018

It is not correct to enter identical questions twice in different sub forums.

I am going to report this thread for deletion.
I don't think that is an identical question. Yes, it is related to the same issue but not identical. Lack of CAD related terminology is no reason to delete anything.

Re: Where is the "Option Tool Bar?

Choose Edit > Paste. Before you position the selection, enable the option "To current layer" In the option tool bar. Where do you find the "Option Tool Bar" to choose "To current layer"? With launching the Paste tool an option bar will automatically pop up on the top of your drawing area (Model_Spa...

???

I mentioned to you that there is already a solution. In what way is your new request different to the already existing add-in?

Re: changing/modifying dimension

A selected dim will display blue points which can be used to manipulate that dim with the mouse pointer. In this case you need to use one of the points shown by the red arrows:

No.

Edit:
Maybe this experimental Add-on/Plug-in is useful for you. It has a "UCS Set origin point" command ...
