Re: Gridded Paper Space?

Yes. To determine those settings check the "Drawing Preferences" / Grid and Page

For Grid it should look like this example:

To have those settings for all new drawing please use the "Application Preferences" instead.

Re: Viewport in normal Block

Hi Guys - thanks for your input! :D Yes, I think I understood the concept of using a Viewport. That is not the problem. The problem for me is to accept that I have to do it twice. Maybe an old shool thinking but one of the reason why we use computer is that we never have to create something twice on...

Yes it's possible.
Make sure that Draft Mode is deactivated and Screen based Linetypes activated. You'll find those switches below Menu / View.

Re: No visibility icons on block or layer list

Hi, The only way is by using the context menu. Wasn't there some shortcut button per layer or block in the past? Yes - and it is still the case: Community Edition: Husky-2017.11.19-02.png I recommend a new installation - use a trial package from this site http://www.qcad.org/de/qcad-downloads-trial ...

Re: Coordinate System

Hello slyde - welcome to the QCAD forum. The coordinate system shows feet and inches. I've set EDIT -> APPLICATION PREFERENCES -> DRAWING UNIT to both inches and feet. But all I ever get is an inch system (I think it's inches). I assume you are talking about the Ruler around your drawing area, corre...

Re: Just for fun - QCAD drawing challenge !!!

The repetition, practice and discipline are all worthwhile. I'll second that! :D This is a project what I've done with a 2D CAD Program in the eighties. No perspective support at all - just the common CAD tools at that time. Husky-2017.11.17-01.png After that I was skilled in that discipline....

Re: Traditional CAD mouse pointer?

Hmmm - it works pretty good for me in QCAD. The cursor will change from Mouse Pointer to a Crosshair depending on the actual task and I have a bit of control of the Cursor shape below Application Preferences:

Salut les gars - me semble le "mode brouillon" est activé. Essayez de l'éteindre (ci-dessous Menu / View) et voir ce qui se passe ...

Hi Guys - sounds to me the "Draft Mode" is activated. Try to switch it off (below Menu/View) and see what happens ...
