Hi Jay,
What would be your main requirements - just profile cutting, drilling, or would you need other options like Vcarve, engraving etc?
What would be your usual medium, wood, plastics or metals?
Many thanks
Clive

Amazing new 'Nesting' tool
Andrew, many thanks for working on this new nesting tool for QCAD/CAM. If you are using QCAD/CAM for designing 2D parts to be cut out with any cnc machine then check out the new nesting tool in the latest development snapshot release. Remember these are development snapshots and are still undergoing...

Re: Hatch has stopped working in QCAD Pro Version: 3.21.2.0 (3.21.2)
Eric, Hatching with any cad program can be tiresome at times that's for sure, but with QCAD the selection of tools I find are remarkable to say the least. I have used a method over and over again with constant success, please see here my method, I've posted it in the 'Tips and Tutorials' forum as it...

Hatching workaround - for diagrammatic purposes only!
Often, here in the machine shop I am confronted with the wonderful task (who am I kidding... ) on cleaning up drawings for either cnc output or for presentation purposes and after many hours of scrambling about with hatching work I eventually came up with a quick and easy solution to hatch an area w...

Lavora nell'unità corretta di cui hai bisogno in QCAD, assicurati di salvare come formato .DXF.
Apri il file in CorelDraw e cambia l'unità impostata sull'unità che ti serve!

Hi Miklstel,
I have moved this topic into this appropriate forum, as Husky has mentioned, the Pro version has additional tools which you can take advantage of, it would be well worth trialing it.

Re: Linetype issue
Hello Nate, welcome.
Most likely the line type is set to something dashed!
Best practice is to set up your own layers and set the line weight, line type and colour to what works for you!

DP-SanDiego,
Yes I totally agree with you, from a QCAD users perspective this should be the case otherwise to the many this would seem completely wrong.

Re: Duplicate offset library part
Hi Dan, You would use the move/copy tool to get the result you need in this instance whether it be a library item or not. 4 X 2 question.jpg Select the rectangle and follow the tool prompts in the command line and the dialog window. Or...is there another issue with the rectangle? When using the rect...

Re: Polyline size entries swapping in property editor fields
Hi,
After an initial test I cannot replicate your problem.
1/ Is this a polyline rectangle you have drafted directly in QCAD?
2/ Please submit an example 'problematic' drawing for testing.
