Re: Duplicate offset library part

Hi Dan, You would use the move/copy tool to get the result you need in this instance whether it be a library item or not. 4 X 2 question.jpg Select the rectangle and follow the tool prompts in the command line and the dialog window. Or...is there another issue with the rectangle? When using the rect...

Re: Polyline size entries swapping in property editor fields

Hi,

After an initial test I cannot replicate your problem.

1/ Is this a polyline rectangle you have drafted directly in QCAD?

2/ Please submit an example 'problematic' drawing for testing.

Re: Pocketing letters

Hello PUIQ, This is a simple task, there is no need to mill the letters by pocketing, too small! Simply keep outlines and any inner contours like with an 'e' and use a hatch fill instead. I have done this type of things lots of times with text, a laser cutter would be used to engrave the fills accur...

Re: What is the difference between free QCAD and Pro QCAD?

Zebulon,

For me personally this is a 'no brainer' - for the low cost investment for the pro version, the return you get back is absolutely superb, whether you intend to use QCAD for private work or indeed commercial work!

Re: Dashed Linetype To Multiple Line Segments?

Hello Paul, Yes there is a way to achieve this, quite simply draw out your first line to the length you need, say 2mm, then use the move/copy tool to copy the line with the number of copies you need. You can determine at what distance you want to space the copies either manually by clicking in model...

Garry,

Are you able to use Trolltec's software (JC) direct with QCAD, or are you restricted with using CorelDraw as the doorway?

Thanks and 'Morphing' question

Hi Andrew,

Firstly a big thank you for the extra new options for the dimension tools, really very useful.

Please could you explain and clarify what the morphing tool is actually for, it looks very creative I must say.

Many thanks
