I choose "paper space" format and then "PDF Export" but the resulting .pdf is empty. What did I do wrong?
Is this question about the same drawing file?

Re: How do I extend line and keep the same angle?

As always, there are several ways to achieve that. Since you know the desired total length, I'd use the property editor to set the length of the line: - View > Property Editor - Click the line to select it - Change the "Length" property to "625" Depending on the start / end point of the line, the li...

Re: The quest for the 'addlayer' with a green color

The Qt doc refers to the SVG doc for supported color names: https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/types.html#ColorKeywords So that might be "lime". RColor::getName should only be used to display the color name to the user. It's localized and does not match the table above. For a localization neutral name use ...

Re: Efficient Math.sign(value) polyfill

So that's 50ms for 1'000'000 calls. I wouldn't waste time on that.

Re: Efficient Math.sign(value) polyfill

Did you benchmark these against each other? Here's some simple benchmark code for 1'000'000 calls each: var i; Math.sign = function(x) { x = +x; if (x === 0 || isNaN(x)) { return Number(x); } return x > 0 ? 1 : -1; }; RDebug.startTimer(); for (i=-500000; i<500000; i++) { Math.sign(i); } RDebug.stopT...

Grazie per il vostro rapporto. Per tutte le richieste di supporto, per favore: - Indicate il sistema operativo che state utilizzando e la sua versione (ad es. Re: [solved] QCad pro 3.24.2 won't run after fresh install of Linux Mint 20

Thanks for the update. I was half suspecting that this might be a 64bit Linux, but somehow would have expected a different error in that case. Anyway, good to know for future support requests.

Re: font.setStrikeOut

I think what's happening here is that widgets["RunT2HExport"].font hands you a copy of the widget font. Changing that copy has no effect.

Try this:

Code: Select all

var font = widgets["RunT2HExport"].font;
// change the font here...
widgets["RunT2HExport"].font = font;

Re: QCad pro 3.24.2 won't run after fresh install of Linux Mint 20

Can you try to delete the directory plugins/xcbglintegrations This is the only XCB related difference from 3.23 to 3.24. If that doesn't work, you'd have to either stay with 3.23 for now, or: To continue the search for the problem, you'd have to provide the debugging output again: export QT_DEBUG_PL...

Re: Paper size problem with "-recompute-dim"

It's possible through scripting, yes.

You might also want to look at the command line tools which have various options to automatically generate PDF files from DXF/DWG drawings:
https://qcad.org/products/qcad-command-line-tools

In particular dwg2pdf and bbox might be interesting.
