Re: Using QCAD known variables in ECMAscript?

RS.LIMMIN, RS.LIMMAX are constants used to identify these header variables. These are not the actual values of these variables.

To query the value for a document, you can use:

Code: Select all

document.getKnownVariable(RS.LIMMIN);

Re: changing rulers

The rulers adjust to the grid settings: Edit > Drawing Preferences > General > Grid Note that rulers in CAD are for your rough orientation only. Most CAD systems don't have rulers at all. You would never use a ruler in CAD like a ruler on paper to measure or draw something. There are far superior to...

Ja. dxflib kann unter Windows nicht mit Umlauten, etc. umgehen. Teigha (QCAD Professional) hat dieses Problem nicht.

For my first point (fusion of 2 lines), in fact I want to combine two line segments into one line.
OK. There is no special function for this in the QCAD API.

Re: util qcad functions

-Get the fusion of 2 lines ? Please elaborate. Do you want to create a polyline? Do you want to combine two line segments into one line? ...? -check if a point is included in a shape ? (can be on shape lines or inside) For a polyline, you can use RPolyline::contains : polyline.contains(point, true,...

Re: Delete object without passing by RAddObjectsOperation

No, you should never change or delete objects directly, bypassing transactions and the undo / redo mechanism. (Unless, perhaps when you are operating on an off-screen document without any user interaction). Imagine this simple use case: Step 1: line added (recorded as transaction, can be undone) Ste...

Re: Problem with labels on rulers

Please save an empty drawing as DXF and attach it to your post. From the drawing file we can see (and correct) the preferences used.

Re: QCAD-Plugin for laser cutting

The undo argument of all transactions is set to false because there is no need of a history tracking. Undo should only be turned off if there is absolutely no doubt that undo / redo will never be used (i.e. when automatically generating a drawing off-screen without any user interaction possible). Y...

Re: Amending dimension

You can use the property editor to adjust the label of a dimension:
- Select the dimension
- View > Property Editor
- Change property "Label"

Re: "ghost" crosshair when using restrict angle

If I understand you correctly, you want to draw a line from a start point at any given location and then set the end point within a 15 degree raster.

To do so, disable the 15 degree restriction for the start point and enable it for the end point.
