Hi, i have a similar problem. Library elements are inserted very small. Another thing that comes to mind is the drawing unit. If your plan is in Meters and the part you insert is only 2 Millimeters wide (e.g. Interrupteur_double.dxf), it might simply end up being too small to be visible. My drawing ...

Use lisp-file for banks in qcad

hi, i have a lisp file for quickly drawing banks (embarkments or whatever the english word for Böschung is ;-) ) which i would love to use in QCAD (see attached). As i`m a landscapearchitect I use banks very often. Is there a way to use .lsp-files in Qcad or how can I have a similar function/script ...

OK, found it out:
after the first "explode"-command the spline was already a polyline. It was then already possible to offset the line with the command equidistance.

Hi Andrew,

i tried to follow your steps. I had a spline, exploded it ( had to do it twice actually) and tried to combine the segements. But i got an error saying:"Element is no line or arc".

What did i do wrong?

Still having some issues with the upload. The file ist to big (5.7MB)

Sorry, but it seams that it's not possible to upload files with the extension bmp here.
I successfully inported now a png-file into my drawing.

The bmp still failes.

Crash - importing bmp

I try to import a bmp-file as a background of the drawing. But always when i try to import the file my qcad crashes.
I work an a kubuntu 13.04 platform.
