I do have linux (ubuntu) installed here but I've never compiled a program before, and don't know how to. Does anyone have ttf2cxf compiled for Ubuntu that they could email me please?
Regards,
Stewart.

Thanks Andrew, That works great. My employer bought a QCad licence for each of us. I've really been enjoying using it, and have been using it for some of my own projects too. I hadn't really done any drafting since high school in 1991 (we only had 2 computers for 30 student back then) and have found...

Thanks Andrew, Those topics are kind of related. I'll try and explain the issue with more detail. It's not a real problem for me because I've found a way around it but it would be good to know if there is a reason for it. Layer 0 on the current drawing is set to: Colour: black/white Line width: 0.25...

Isometric dimension problem
Hi,
After using the isometric function all the entities become smaller.
eg:a rectangle 80 x 40 becomes 65.3197 x 32.6599 when projected to front. Is this supposed to happen? Is there a way around it?
Thanks,
Stew.

The + and - keys are used for zoom. The Circuit board design software I use uses the spacebar to rotate the object you are inserting by 90 degrees. This works really well because the spacebar is easy to hit. It may interfere with the Qcad command line though. It is definately a feature that would be...

I've noticed that when you insert a block it is inserted onto the current layer. To get the layers back to what they should be you have to select the block then modify > attributes - leave all unchanged and click OK. The block will now regain it's original layer attributes. I always insert blocks on...

Too many files open
Sorry in advance, this is hard to describe. I find that I end up having many files open with the same name, but some don't have the latest drawing modifications. I often have different files open and switch back and forth between them. The problem is if I have a file called file1, I will regularly s...

Installing new fonts
Hi,
Is it possible to download and install more fonts, or convert fonts from another format to .cxf format?
Cheers,
Stewart.
