Cups 1.7 Qcad 3.4.6 Pro Fedora 20 Issues
Hi, I dropped my laptop which was all working with Qcad and our network printers. So now have a new one, its Fedora 20 which has the latest Cups 1.7, but I could get no printers in Qcad 3.4.6 Eventually a tweak to add a /etc/printcap generation to the cups config gave me the local printers, but I ca...

Linetypes when printing
Hi Andrew, This is RC5.... sorry if you have already dealt with it. If we use a dash line type and set the overall linetype factor to 100 on a drawing (plan of 20metres x 20 metres approx) and then come to print it on A3, the linetype is not being scalled back from 20metres to suit the page extents....

Re: Speed Under Linux
Hi Andrew, Yes I think you are right, I can see it peaking sometimes and rarely up at 50%, but generally for woking around 10-20%, 4% memory. So was looking a bit further and think its the video rendering. Today the machine (being my laptop and undocked) at 1366x768 res seems to be better than when ...

Speed Under Linux
Hi, Still working with RC5, but finding its a bit slow, you click a tool, 1....2... redraw... click a tool, 1..2 redraw. Its running under Gnome3 on Fedora which is uses video acceleration, so wondering if something to do with that. Is there anyway you can think that it can be sped up.... asside raw...

Purge Blocks and Layers
Hi,
It would be nice to have some equivalent to AC command Purge All which deletes all unused layers and blocks.

QCAD Community Ed
These are my views, and I am nothing to do with Ribbonsoft. QCAD is not really expensive and does not really have much to debug.... a 1 month demo version would be a better idea than community.... I am sure if you were a serious developer and had contributed great amounts previously you could apply ...

Selection Tool Differing Behaviour 2.1 > 2.2
Hi, In QCAD 2.1 when you highlighted an area in the main screen only objects that are completely (ie start and end) in the window were selected. In QCad 2.2 when you highlight an area all objects are highlighted that cross through the highlighted area. Is there any way to force the qcad2.1 behaviour...

Qcad 2010
Hi Andrew, 1/ When will QCAD 3 prof 2010 be released? We are encountering more and more difficulty dropping new dwg back to the old DXF2000 format (using ACME cad convert) and maybe DXF2007 may help fix this. Infact so bad we have being using acad to plot to HPGL and then using hpgl-dxf convertor to...

Hi, I dont know if its the same thing, but we get drawings from a certain supplier in dwg. Some of these drawings are 10000 objects+ and when converted to dxf are 3.5MB or there about. These drawings are a real pain, we even have to explode some of the objects for them to convert back to 2000 DXF. A...
