Drawing unit from inch to millimeters

I would like to change the drawing unit from my current drawing from inch to cm. Doing so in the current drawing preferences gives me a drawing with very thick lines.

Has someone an idea which steps I should follow to go to a drawing in millimeters?

Re: Resizing whole drawing

Problem is, of course, solved after some try and error and succes.

Select all does not look at layers and in the Scale Options dialog the option Use current layer stayed unchecked.

Apart from that I needed to change the 'Dimensions' in 'Drawing preferences' .

Great tool.

Resize rectangle

What is the best/easiest way to resize a rectangle?

Currently is use the stretch functionality

I wonder if there is a way to select a side and have it repositioned and by doing so resize the rectangle.
