Re: autocad 2018 errors using commandline conversion?

There are two different sets of packages for Linux: - the Qt 5 based packages for all modern Linux distributions (qcad-3.19.2-trial-linux-x86_32.run / qcad-3.19.2-trial-linux-x86_64.run) - the Qt 4 based legacy packages for older Linux distributions (qcad-3.19.2-trial-linux-qt4-x86_32.run, qcad-3.19...

Re: Share my state between different scripts

The approach for application wide, non-persistent data should work fine also for JSON: var appWin = RMainWindowQt.getMainWindow(); appWin.setProperty("MyProperty", {"a":3, "b":7, ...}); var value = appWin.property("MyProperty")["a"];

Re: Chinese Text?

I cannot reproduce this problem here. I've installed "Noto Sans CJK TC" under 64-bit Ubuntu and it shows up in the text dialog and I can also create text with it (QCAD 3.19.2). Please check if you might have configured QCAD to only display a limited range of fonts in the text dialog under:...

Re: Export bitmap with meter unit

Thanks for the file. I can confirm that these lines are so thin (0.25mm, less than a pixel) that they become invisible in the bitmap output. This is not intended and will be corrected for the next release by exporting very thin lines as one pixel wide: http://www.qcad.org/bugtracker/index.php?do=det...

Re: Export bitmap with meter unit

Please attach the original drawing file (DXF, DWG, ...) and indicate what parameters you are using for the export. For all support requests, please: - indicate the operating system you are using and the version thereof - indicate the exact version of QCAD you are using (see Help > About or QCAD > Ab...

Re: deleteObject() usage

You need to reference the previously added entity through its ID. Creating a new entity with the same geometry is just a new entity without any relationship to the original entity. Here's an example for adding and then deleting an entity: https://github.com/qcad/qcad/blob/master/scripts/Misc/Example...

Not sure what you mean by "grid lines". The rulers at the top and left use the same configured format. So do the measuring tools.

Re: Exception occured

You can select an entity based on its handle using Misc > Select > By Handle . If you cannot identify the problem, please - indicate the operating system you are using and the version thereof - indicate the exact version of QCAD you are using (see Help > About or QCAD > About QCAD) - attach original...

Re: Pure Inches not Feet and Inches

If you set the dimension format to "Fractional" you will get only inches (34) instead of feet and Inches (2'10"). The unit is not shown though.

Re: CAM toolpath jumps in dependence of tool diameter

Unfortunately, these polylines are rather messy with duplicate and triple nodes and many virtually straight arc segments with huge radii. Presumably these are the result of exploding a text. Some fonts contain glyphs with such problems which makes them unsuitable for further processing without some ...

Re: Troubles with printing/export in QCAD 3.19.2

Thanks for your report. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this problem here. What exactly does the warning dialog say? Perhaps you can temporarily switch your system language to English, run QCAD and make a screenshot of the dialog in English? Do you have any printer drivers installed on your system...
