Re: Small image

Hi,

long story short: That drawing is a challenge. Maybe the converter program messed it up but I'm not sure about it.

Howsoever - you can bring it back to a working condition with QCAD. Is this what you are looking for?

I am trying to add a dimension to a line. No arrows appear. It appears to create a new line.
Looks like you have just to increase the Dimension "Text height" below:

Re: QCAD Pro 3.24 Won't Launch Win 10 64b

Hello, I followed another thread posted previously about removing an opendll file in the plugins folder. This appeared to have worked for a while. Then the other day I noted it had stopped again. You are using the Community Version or the QCAD Professional version? The Pro doesn't requires any file ...

Or how do I draw a line a specific length without depending on grid snaps?
Launch a line tool and use the option box to fill in the specific length of the line.

Re: Can I Move and type distance

I use Autodesk ACAD Electrical at work and with that I can grab a line and start to move it then type the distance on the keyboard to move a specified amount. Is this possible with QCAD? Sure - there are a bunch of possibilities to do that ... One could be: select the line, launch the move/copy too...

Re: Change from free version to professional

That is pretty straight forward .. You can order your copy within the QCAD Shop ... https://www.qcad.org/en/online-shop?cur=USD ... and just follow the instructions. Basically you get a download link - download and install the version regarding to your OS. Maybe a good idea to uninstall the f...

Discovered that if I select an exploded entity, that if it is white, it is duplicated.
If you suspect overlapping entities you can use the alt key and a left mouse click to see and select them.

Re: Hatch Problems

It is never handy to select several hundreds or thousands of entities one by one. Bless the programmer which are providing tools to avoid that in many cases. :D Maybe it is different kind of virus but I played a bit with the drawing ... 1. I cleaned the drawing - yes, I think you already know why. ...

1. What is the computer system requirements to run Qcad? https://qcad.org/en/faq Note: That is minimum - everything "faster" will help you at your daily task ... 2. I have to jump in here in support of TreeStumpExhaustPipe. May I ask you what for you would use a movable UCS? Let see what we have ... Fact is: - it isn't currently part of QCAD Pro, I'm absolutely sure there is a reason for that, - a feature request exist, - we have a workaround for a permanent (...

I had some dificulty because I use Community edition. Sorry for that - I missed the fact and referred to Pro. My bad!   I hope to buy professional edition soon, but I am afraid to buy from internet. I'm afraid to say that there is properly no other way for you than the internet.
