QCad looks like it is opening, but then nothing happens. From console; 01/03/2008 12:26:25 com.apple.launchd[105] ([0x0-0x35035].QC...

We use SVG export in connection with XSL-FO / Apache Fop here. Actually SVG export (with QCad of course) makes an excellent front end for Cheetah3D, a solid modeller package for Mac OS X. I and a few others are hoping that Martin Wengenmayer, C3D's developer will make C3D more architecturally frien...

You know that you can change line thickness in the layer window? Highlight the layer that you want to open then press the edit button. Line thickness can then be changed in pull-down menu marked 'width' (second menu down in pop-up window) It helps to turn other layers off so you don't end up choosin...

Sorry about missing your signature :) It sounds like you may have corrupt files, especially if the process that you carried out was the same for both files but not the other. I once had a problem with a file that absolutely refused to budge from the colour magenta. This too must have come corrupted ...

It's difficult to say, because my files turn up as eDrawings files, but yes, if I try to change file permissions, Leopard does not recommend QCad to open them- which I suppose is very similar to your problem Paul? To be honest I never bother double clicking, because I usually open dxf files from wha...

Hi fellas :) Right; 01. Open dxf file in ACAD 02. File Menu/ Drawing Utilities/ Audit 03. Type 'y' (for yes) in the command line and hit return. 04. then type 'regen' and hit return again. Zoom extents, and that's it! You will almost certainly have trouble with ACAD printing any QCad text/ Unicode. ...
