QCAD & Amp Chassis Layout

I'm interested in making amplifiers. I'd like to know would QCAD enable me to make a chassis layout along the lines of one shown in the photo?
Thanks. If forum members can't help me, would QCAD staffers themselves help me complete each step of the process?

Hi, and welcome to the QCAD forum.

Definitively yes on the first question.

It may take some time to learn all the QCAD tools but after a while you will notice that QCAD is very intuitive.
Some lines, rectangles, circles and some text should be fairly easy.

And also yes on the second question.
Ask any well documented question in this forum and I am about sure someone will step in to help you on the road.

In the end it is you that is the designer and not us.

Yes, QCAD is designed as a CAD application for that kind of task.

Forum member can and will help you in the process! QCAD staffer have for understandable reason's only limited time on there hands but monitor closely every topic. If necessary they will join a conversation.
