Does QCAD support surveyor's coordinates for creating angles?

Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

Angles may be entered for example as

N12°34'56"W
or
N12D34'56"W
etc.

If that is not what you had in mind, please be more specific and provide examples, thanks.

Hey Andrew, THANK YOU. That seems to work pretty good. I will now make a purchase of QCAD Professional. I used to use AutoSketch back in the day, but something happened to it, I heard AutoDesk bought the company and then killed it.

W10, Q3.25.2

trying revive this thread as it seems closest to my issue. I am trying to copy a survey print into Qcad and havn't been able to figure out how to input coordinates like N04-58'-07"E .
What tool allows these inputs.
I tried relative angle but it always creates angles counterclokwise. It also only seems to work with decimals.

Check out the links below. It think this is what you are looking for for MS Windows version.

Surveyors coordinates or decimal values can be entered in the options tool bar. Just use the formats listed above by Andrew.

Line from Angle tool description

Option Toolbar description and location
