QCAD Super Slow on Super Fast iMac

Hey,
I'm testing QCAD and when using on my newer, very fast iMac, the entire user interface is super slow and laggy. Is there a setting I should be aware of?

Are you referring to opening menus, clicking buttons, showing dialogs, etc? Or panning, zooming in? The later depends on the loaded drawing, the first one does not and would indeed indicate a problem.

Yes, I opened this file so I think I understand what you're talking about. The file I was having an issue with is a survey that I opened complete with topographic information. The file size is: 61.5 MB so I can't upload it here.
