tangental knife post

Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

In what format do you have the post processor?

QCAD/CAM uses post processors in ECMAScript. Unless your post processor was written specifically for QCAD/CAM it will not work. Perhaps you can attach your post processor or an example G-Code file for your machine controller, so we can be more specific about how much work it would be to create a post processor for your machine.

Thanks. Such a post processor could be implemented relatively easily in QCAD/CAM. However, it's not something we have ready out of the box. Do you have an example for cutting an arc shape?

Thanks.

A post processor for this machine is possible though not straightforward due to the different nature of the process (compared with laser cutting or milling).

Are you planning on writing a post processor yourself or are you looking for help or a finished post processor?
