[solved] Inserted images - ability to adjust (QCAD Pro)

Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

[solved] Inserted images - ability to adjust (QCAD Pro)

Post by bmac_2780 » Sun Aug 29, 2021 11:46 pm

I note images can be inserted and can be moved to front or back. Is it possible to adjust brightness and contrast of an inserted image and are such settings maintained for printing? Thank you.

No - brightness and contrast is not supported by QCAD. Position, size, rotation, flip, bring to front / back, more or less visibility (fade) is pretty much what you can do with a bitmap. At the end of the day QCAD is a CAD application.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thanks Husky,

Fade is the main feature I need. Thanks for the info.
