Do you have a question you want to ask an existing QCAD user about QCAD and what you can do with it? Do you want to know if a particular feature exists? This is the place to ask.

Question on changing from windows to linux

Post by carlos515 » Wed Feb 02, 2022 7:02 am

If I buy the professional QCAD for windows can I port the license over to a linux version. The reason is that if I don't like Mach4 I may switch to Linuxcnc for my plasma table.

Thanks,
Carlos

Yes.

Quote: QCAD Professional
QCAD Professional single user licenses are valid for a single user on all supported platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Multiple installations on multiple computers and operation systems are possible as long as there is only one user per license.
Includes one year of free updates.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
