Context Menu Clipboard tools ....

Hi,

just wondering why ....

In my Application Preferences is below Context Menu / Clipboard Tools ticked ...

... but I can't see them in the Context Menu ...

... and instead of the expected tools I see the "Select Contour" and the "Auto Create Polyline" tool. Why is that so?

The contents of the context menu always depends on what you right-click on (i.e. the "context").

If you right-click on a selection, you should see cut, copy, delete, etc.
If you right-click on a line or arc, you can see the tools to create a polyline, select the contour, etc.
If you right-click into an empty area, you should see paste.

In your case, it looks like you right-clicked on a line or arc (not selected).

Thanks Andrew - the tool is smarter than I thought ... and smarten than me ....

What is about this "Select Contour" and the "Auto Create Polyline" entry? Where are they coming from? I haven't used them (History?) and I can't remember a setting possibility in the Application Preferences ...

What is about this "Select Contour"

Select contour comes for all entities that can be part of a sequence of connected entities (contour), i.e. lines, arcs, polylines, splines, etc.

"Auto Create Polyline" entry?

To create a polyline from a sequence of loose arcs, lines or connected polylines.
