Export 2D .obj to Blender
Needing to build 3d models in Blender with dxf, dwg references i found blender importer couldn't import most of my files completely or at all. So, searching for workarounds I came across this lisp script for AutoCAD and BricsCad: https://blenderartists.org/forum/showth ... oad/page18. This seems to work nicely and QCad would greatly benefit from something similar especially because QCad is great at cleaning up drawings. Does this seem like something that can be done?

If Blender (or any other application) offers a DXF import feature which does not import all of your DXF, try the following in QCAD:
- Explode complex entities that weren't imported correctly (Modify > Explode)
- If entities are still not imported correctly, explode further
- Try saving to a different DXF version. Older DXF versions often work better with other applications (if in doubt, try DXF R12 which is still widely recognized and in use
