I hope someone has the answer on my following question.
Ik would like to paste selected entities from a drawing into a table in an Openoffice Writer textdocument.
Copy Paste by using ctrl"C" in Qcad and Ctrl"V" in Openoffice doesn't work.
I used to work with an old Quickcad application in which this copy-paste into open office simply did work!
OS: windows 10 HOME version 1803
Qcad Professional version 3.12.4.1
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.2
Copy paste into openoffice writer document

Re: Copy paste into openoffice writer document
I don't think that a Openoffice Writer document supports a dxf/dwg format from what ever source - but that is just a wild guess.
I would use screenshots of the QCAD drawing in a png, jpg etc format.
Good luck!

Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: Copy paste into openoffice writer document
If you want to insert vector data into an OpenOffice document, I'd recommend to use the SVG format:
- Export your file to SVG in QCAD (File > Advanced SVG Export... or File > Quick SVG Export...)
- Insert the SVG into OpenOffice using Insert > Picture > From File...
