Best file format for 36" x 48" poster

WIN 10 x86_64

Drafting a history cemetery map from survey data (.DXF file).
Is there a best choice for file format for producing a 36"x48" poster?
(see attached PDF)
I was originally thinking PDF, but poster maker suggested using PPT (PowerPoint)?
I assume to get PPT I would need to use Adobe tool (Acrobat?) to convert PDF to PPT.
Any pros/cons PPT vs PDF source?

Hi,

I think there are still artifacts floating around.
Seen as dots on your PDF.
Clean these up so that an auto fit on page only displays the required area.

Document size is now 11 by 8.5 inch.
You can specify a custom paper size in the Drawing Preferences.
Then fit to page in the Print preview mode before exporting to PDF.

An issue can be the Lineweight what is limited to 2.11mm and never scaled.
In that case convert lines/Arcs to Polylines and use a global Polyline width.

Large size printing firms would support the PDF format.

Is there a quick way to ignore/block artifacts and just display title, lots and text section of drawing? The source data file has 50+ layers.

Depends on how the content is arranged.

A) In the Block List click on the button with the grayed eye symbol to 'Hide All Blocks' (BH) except Model_Space
That would hide all Block Reference entities based on the listed Blocks.
Or hide Block per Block by toggling the eye symbol in front of it.

Without an example drawing it is unsure if any Block is used for plot designation.

B) In the Layer List hide all layers with irrelevant drawing items on it.
Or hide all with a similar button as for Blocks and only turn ON those with relevant drawing items.
