Qcad version 3.29.4; Op system is Windows 11. on a laptop.
On page 227 under item 4 at the top is an image which looks like a file server. i cannot find this symbol.
I went ahead and drew an entity and tried to upload it to the office folder. I get the response that "cannot save to office folder, don't have permission to store here." The Library folder is in the folder 'Program Files' which is read only.
Any suggestions?
thanks
Peter

Re: Problems with Library Browser
Peter,
Or you store them in the Library folder of your QCAD installation with Admin rights.
Or one can use the local data location:
See Changelog under version 3.26.2: https://www.ribbonsoft.com/en/documentation/changelog
The first method might require a two step process, saving it from within QCAD outside the installation folder ...
... and where the second step has Admin rights to move it to a folder under "Program Files".
It is also required that you include any new path for your Library Browser.
See menu Edit .. Application Preferences .. Widgets .. Library Browser .. Library Sources.
It is equally possible to use any custom folder if you include that.
