Hi,
I just purchased QCAD. Many years ago (probably 20) I suspect I had something very similar that was pretty useful. My new version is Version: 3.15.5.0 (3.15.5)
One problem I have is the Select function doesn't show the Select Entity function.
Any thoughts on this?

Was it that what you were looking for?
You mean to select single Entity's? If yes, just click with the left mouse button on the entity which has to be selected. If you need do select a couple of them press the CTRL key (and keep pressed) on your Keyboard or use a drag-box (rectangle selection) with your mouse cursor.Gerardf wrote:... I'm missing a step. For example, if I draw a line, then decide it's wrong, when I try to select the line in order to delete it, QCAD is still in the 'draw line' mode and tries to draw a new line.

There are multiple possibility's to terminate a tool. My Qcad is set to terminate with a double right click with the mouse,
you can also try to work with the keyboard: 1 or two times "escape", or hit the letter Q twice ...
