Is it possible to count blocks as they are added to drawing and set up a table to show #?

Yes and no ....

There is a little script to count the used Blocks in your drawing and the result will be saved in a simple text file. But it isn't placed automatically in your drawing.
You can find the script below Menu / Misc / Block / Export Block List
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.
