Hi Forum:
I made up a few Blocks with Attributes to add (as needed) to my Templates. The problem is, when I insert one of these Blocks and Synchronize the Attributes ( BLOCK -> ATTRIBUTES -> SYNCHRONIZE ATTRIBUTES ), the Attributes stay frozen/hidden in the Block. Will someone explain to me the right way to do this? Thanks.

Re: Adding Block w/Attributes to Template
The Title Block in the page center is the one I added that won't free up the attributes.

Re: Adding Block w/Attributes to Template
Block "tb 001" contains a block "Title Block". "Title Block" has block attributes.
If this block in a block structure is intended, you need to edit block "tb001" and then synchronize the block attributes.
More likely, this is not intended and you only want to create one single block from the file you insert. To do this, you need to name your block the same as the file you insert from the part library (e.g. "MyBlock.dxf" contains a block "MyBlock"). QCAD will then create one block ("MyBlock").

Re: Adding Block w/Attributes to Template
Thanks for that clarification, Andrew. In truth, I'm just testing out what I can and can't do with attribute laden blocks. I don't have other blocks with attributes created yet, so I re-used the Title Block as tb 001, not regarding that I was creating a block within a block. I'll take the time and do this the right way. Thanks again.
