Hi everybody,
I'm new to QCAD and was coming from Autosketch. As Autodesk has decided to end their support of Autosketch I had to search for an alternative which I found in QCAD. So far I like the program and haven't found any major disadvantages compared with Autosketch. Even better there is some advantages like there is no need to have a re-draw function, library browser is much more ergonomic to use and the icons are much clearer and better to recognize.
I have the problem that I have to install and train a couple of people in using QCAD and I would like to have their installations/settings the same way as I have them. Where is QCAD saving the basic settings? Can I copy that file and save it into the installation folder of a new installation?
Best regards
Sven

Re: Export/Save Settings
Thank you for your kind feedback.
Assuming that you are on a (newer) Windows system, the configuration file can be found under:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\QCAD\QCAD3.ini
Under macOS:
~/.config/QCAD/QCAD3.ini
And under Linux:
~/.config/QCAD/QCAD3.conf
