In the following screenshot one can see the points 1, 2 and the target point x.
The target point shall be defined as follows:
- Draw a line from point 2 to point 1. Extend the line by two cm.
In other words: From point 1 go two cm in top direction using the angle between point 2 and point 1.
How can I do this in QCAD? Especially, what's the most easiest way to do this?
In most cases like this it would also be sufficient for me or even preferred to simply move point 1 to the target point x, instead of creating target point x in addition to point 1.
Operating system: Windows 10 x64
QCAD version: Qcad Pro 3.19.2
Thanks

Current situation is that you have an arc between Point 1 and 2. Is it OK to use the arc for the extension?yetanotheruser wrote:The target point shall be defined as follows:

If yes - explode (Modify / Explode) the polyline and use the Modify / Lengthen/Shorten tool with a 20 mm value.
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Thank you very much, that worked great!
And yes, using the arc is more than fine
