I wondered if there is also a function to freely rotate?
So you select a rotation point on an object and then select a second point with which you can rotate the object until you have a point on which you want to fix it. With a single line this is no problem. Only I can not yet discover how you do this with an entire object.
I'm using Qcad version 3.19.1

Re: Free rotation
You can use F5/F6 to rotate the current selection or to rotate while pasting or inserting items:
http://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/referen ... /RotateCCW
http://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/referen ... c/RotateCW
You can also rotate "freely" using angles specified by mouse clicks as described in the manual at:
http://qcad.org/doc/qcad/latest/referen ... doc/Rotate
Finally, Modify > Align Reference Points can be very useful in many such situations as well:

Re: Free rotation
Hi Andrew
I am ashamed . I have never noticed the cursor button next to the commandline.
Thanx for help.

Re: Free rotation
Same with me, although I HAVE noticed the button, but always regarded it as futile.
By the way: in the German reference manual the hint with the "mouse cursor instead of angle" is missing…
