See attached screen shot and qcad pro dwg file. I've trimmed the walls (in yellow) in this one section of walls including ends. the screen shot shows in dark red the completed section yet when i click to the inner part it still dosent hatch. Help help, thanks, Danny

This seems to work fine here.
Please let us know how you proceed step by step, what tool(s) you use, etc.
Here's how it worked for me:
1. Select the wall outline (8 lines)
2. Draw > Hatch > Hatch from Selection
3. Choose pattern or solid fill, etc.
4. Click OK

thanks. the tutorial shows to select it after bring up the tool, this way it works
