QCAD won't run after installation (my hardware: MacOS, M2 chip)

Post by Filip » Thu Jun 08, 2023 7:33 pm

Hello,

When I try to run QCAD after installation on a Mac Mini with an M2 chip (MacOS: Ventura 13.4), the program crashes and the dock starts to hide itself.

I tried to install the following packages, but I never had them both present at the same time:

QCAD Professional 3.28.1 (e) for macOS 11.x, 12.x, 13.x arm64 (M1/M2, NOT for regular Intel Macs!)
QCAD Professional 3.28.1 (f) for macOS Qt 6 11.x, 12.x, 13.x arm64 (M1/M2, NOT for regular Intel Macs!)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I deleted the QCAD.ini file and now I can run QCAD.

Thank you so much.

Excellent, thanks for letting us know. It could be related to exiting QCAD in full screen mode.
Do you have an external screen attached? Thanks.
