I prepared a block and saved it, but when I try to insert it, the angle is different.

Blocks can be rotated or scaled while inserting them. Please check the options toolbar at the top while inserting the block. You likely want the scale to be 1 and the rotation to be 0.

Thank you! I had that problem before and abandoned the attempt. I need to be more observant as I had not realized that that line was there.
