Cannot select destination folders

I cannot designate/select destination folders when:
1. Opening drawings
2. Saving drawings
3. Printing to pdf
4. Exporting to pdf
My Operating system is: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS running on a Dell Latitude E6545
My QCAD version: QCAD Professional Version: 3.32.3.1 (3.32.3.1)

Could it be that you might have installed the flatpak?
If so, please Google "flatpak allow access to folders Ubuntu 24".

Thanks, Andrew.
I did install using Flatpak. I googled as you suggested, and I've installed Flatseal to manage Flatpak permissions. QCad now works.
The instructions I used are:
Using a Graphical Tool (Flatseal):
Flatseal provides a user-friendly graphical interface to manage Flatpak permissions. Install Flatseal.
Code: flatpak install flathub com.github.tchx84.Flatseal
Manage Permissions with Flatseal.
Launch Flatseal, select the desired Flatpak application from the list, and navigate to the "Filesystem" section. Here, you can add custom directories to grant access to, or modify other filesystem-related permissions. Remember to restart the application after making changes in Flatseal.
I've attached a screenshot of the Flatseal screen.
