Hi,
I am trying to open a DWG in the QCAD Professional Trial 3.11.3 version on my OS X Yosemite. The layer list is loaded but the drawing does not show.
I've tied the following:
Show all layers
Show all blocks
Controlling the background vs line colors
I´d like to solv this before buying the professional version.
Any thoughts?
Best regards
Addan

Progress. I found the right block to edit and the drawing appeared.
Re: Blank when opening DWG
Hi Addan - welcome to the Forum,
Ok, here is my first thoughts ....
Please check the Block List,
double click in the Block List on "Model-Space" - here should your drawing be!
Is the drawing not on "Model-Space" please check Paper-Space. If you find the drawing on Paper-Space you need to move it to Model-Space.
If this doesn't solves the problem please attach or PM the drawing which causes the problem, thank you.

Re: Blank when opening DWG
Hi Addan - thanks for the PM and drawing.
Yes - the drawing is entirely drawn on Paper_Space - that is incorrect. You need to move all entities in the drawing to "Model_Space" (Blocklist).
Here are the steps to do it:
Open the drawing / open the Block List,
double-click the Paper_Space in the Blocklist (=edit Modus),
now you will see the drawing ...
Select all,
Clipboard / Cut with reference,
reference point = Absolute 0-0,
double-click "Model_Space" in the Blocklist (=edit Modus),
Clipboard / Paste / Reference point = Absolute 0-0,
Save your drawing - done.
This is a huge drawing - it could take a couple minutes to copy and paste the drawing ....
