I use the latest Qcad, windows 7 home

I make a spline with SL, Then remove some overlapping lines with D2. After that, the spline become a Bezier curve, and I cannot add or remove points on it anymore :( (with NI and NR)

How to keep the spline after editing??

I can confirm this limitation. Unfortunately, it is not possible to trim or split a spline with fit points (left) without converting it to a spline with control points (right) in the process.

Note that you are still looking at a spline, but it no longer uses fit points. As far as I know it is not mathematically possible to create a new spline with fit points to represent the exact result of a split or trim operation. If you drag and drop the end point instead, you might get a satisfactory result, depending on your use case. In any case, you will likely create a slightly different spline if you do this.
