I just installed 3.20.1. When in "print preview" the arrow "rest/idle" does not work, I can only exit by clicking the "print" icon again.

Cannot exit print preview

Re: Cannot exit print preview
This is actually a side-effect of a necessary restructuring of the print preview. The print preview is slightly more persistent and essentially becomes the main action to handle all events until it's explicitly closed. You can close it using the red [X] button in the options toolbar (first button) or by clicking the print preview button again.
Re: Cannot exit print preview
Hi,
I have to jump on this train too ....
This side effect is really a lit odd.
1. If I click "Print Preview" I don't get a visual confirmation that this button is clicked.
It would be nice to have that "clicked" status to "assume" that I have to click it again to turn it off.
2. The "Print current View" bottom provides this "clicked" status ...
.... but I can't use it to turn it off. I have to use the [X] in the option bar and the status "clicked" stays forever even after leaving the "Print current view". Only closing the drawing will turn off the "clicked" status on that button.

Re: Cannot exit print preview
Yes, the button states are inconsistent, but I didn't let that stop the release. I will look into that when time allows.. Unfortunately, I had to change a lot of code because of the update to Qt 5.10 which is needed for newer macOS versions but has some nasty bugs (with shortcuts among other things).

Thanks Andrew, that's fine with me, just requires a change of habitsYou can close it using the red [X] button in the options toolbar
