[solved] 3.21.1 Tool shortcuts cannot be stored
Hi Andrew,
I cannot store anymore new settings the tool shortcuts. If put a new shortcut for example zoom window Z,W in it will work for that session but not after re-starting QCAD. As well after I have done this and go into the settings again my new shortcut is gone but will still work for that session without re-starting QCAD.
Any idea about a workaround?

Re: 3.21.1 Tool shortcuts cannot be stored
Very strange. I have played around a lot, especially with editing the qcad.ini file in the sections commands and shortcuts to get my own shortcuts in but it isn't working. QCAD is simply overwriting it with invalid.

Re: 3.21.1 Tool shortcuts cannot be stored
Just tried it on an older 3.19.2 installation on a different windows 10 PC. It works, I can store new shortcuts.

Re: 3.21.1 Tool shortcuts cannot be stored
I can confirm is a bug:
http://www.qcad.org/bugtracker/index.ph ... sk_id=1776
If you are interested in snapshot releases (unstable), you can download the latest snapshot release (3.21.1.1) from the download page (under "Snapshots)".

Yep - same here!Rantanplan7 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 4:48 pmJust tried it on an older 3.19.2 installation on a different windows 10 PC. It works, I can store new shortcuts.
Win10/64 - QCAD Pro 3.21.1.0 will not save changed shortcuts.
Older QCAD Pro Version are working flawless.
Edit: Andrew was faster ...
Work smart, not hard: QCad Pro
Win10/64, QcadPro, QcadCam version: Current.

Re: 3.21.1 Tool shortcuts cannot be stored
Thanks Andrew and Husky (and I thought Husky's are quick ones??) to confirm this although I hoped that there is a workaround at least. So for the time being I will try to get the existing shortcuts into my mind as I don't like to go back to 3.19.2.

If I try that, would you like to get comments on that snapshot as well? And if yes on a private message or here in the board? If you are interested in snapshot releases (unstable), you can download the latest snapshot release (3.21.1.1) from the download page (under "Snapshots)".

Yes, please do provide feedback if possible. In the public forum but a separate topic would be fine, thanks.Rantanplan7 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 7:07 amIf I try that, would you like to get comments on that snapshot as well? And if yes on a private message or here in the board?
