Hi All

I have a question regarding the property editor. when I select a linear dimension the property editor
reports 8 digits after the decimal point, on angled dimensions it's only displaying 5 ?
I discovered this by accident, I was cutting and pasting values from the property editor while creating
a hatch pattern... see screenshot below, dxf file also attached..

I checked the precision for both angular and degrees, they are both set to 8 digits after decimal point..

Using QCAD/CAM Version 3.25.0.0 (3.25.0)
Running on Windows 10, 64bit

That is the drawing dimensional setting.
So, what is used for the Dim's is configurable.

This setting is also used for the info tools.
These values one can copy from the command history.

The property Editor display these with a build in scheme and 'as short as possible'.
For angles that is in degrees.
Angles in degrees need fewer decimals to be 'as accurate' in regards with linear values.
Therefor displayed shorter.

That is also true for Hatch pattern angles, these need less decimals as dX, dY or the dashes.
Part of the debate accuracy vs precision.

Formatting numbers in javascript is a milestone because it has the tendency to interpret it as strings.

Then we get accuracy vs resolution vs precision.
Hatch patterns definitions need precision, a certain number of significant decimal digits.
eg. lets say 4 : 1234 or 1.234 or 0.00001234 ...

What you need is a tool that documents entities in full.
Something I am using on daily base but I am altering the script for my needs on the fly.
