Status bar (GS) check mark missing

When the status bar is displayed (GS), there is no check mark in the menu.
Configuration
QCAD pro 3.27.6
macOS Monterey 12.5.1

Hi,
I/we have icons upfront and no, non for GS and thus no selection either.

Found a bugreport dated 11.07.2016:

From comparing code it seems the item is not setChecked nor cleared.
