[solved] new download does not work well

I am new to Qcad and recently purchased the pro version. I am using a macbook pro using 11.7.4 and it is an M1 computer. I downloaded the 3.28.1 (3) software and and several tools just do not work. Is this version of the software not workable on my computer?

Many tools need a selection to work. Did you take that into account?

Ahh! I was selecting one tool and failing to select a second one on the next pop up. Thanks.
