holes around a flange

Post by mi3gto » Thu Dec 01, 2011 7:25 am

I need to produce many flanges which have holes drilled equal distance around the flange. How do I draw a array of say 6 = distance holes. Can't even see how on V3.0 can this not be done with a simple select circle and type the number of holes and their diameter? How would you do it?

1. Draw first hole
2. Select hole
3. Modify - Rotate
4. Choose center of rotation
5. Enter angle and number of copies in rotation dialog. All inputs accept formulas as input. For example for 8 holes, enter for the number of copies '8-1' or '7' and for the angle '360/8' or '45'.
